We have 70 trucks and 40 other pieces of heavy equipment at this location of our heavy construction company. They all produce a great deal of oil. We rely on our Clean Burn furnaces to recycle this used motor oil into free heat. At our Johnston facility we have three different shops, totally more than 8,000 square feet in space, that the Clean Burn units help heat.
Our Clean Burn furnaces have been so successful at our facilities that we’re investigating adding a Clean Burn boiler system to this location to supplement the hot water needs for our concrete operations.
As we review our fuel bills, we find that using our Clean Burn systems have helped keep our energy costs manageable for the past several years.
